Course Cancellation and Refund Policy

 

Under the law, you may have the right to cancel or request a refund under certain circumstances and in accordance with this policy. Before cancellation, we suggest viewing alternative options such as changing your course or subscription model.

If you are eligible to cancel or request a refund, we ask that you contact Popular Robotics at support@robociti.com with a reason for request. Your feedback helps us improve our products and services for the future.

Please observe that cancellation and refund policy varies according to the original payment model you have previously selected to access material or services through Popular Robotics’ ROBOCITI website. 

For policy surrounding any of Popular Robotics’ hardware kits, please see the Product Refund Policy  page.

Available payment models include:

  1. Paid upfront model
    1. Individual courses
    2. Career Path
  2. Subscription model
    1. Monthly
    2. Annual

 

If Popular Robotics approves a request for refund, you will receive a refund to the original form of payment. For any products or services purchased at a promotional price, you will be refunded the promotional amount. The refund may take up to 14 days to process after the refund request has been approved.

If the original form of payment is not available, the refund cannot be processed. Transaction and other fees of up to 5% may apply. You will receive a confirmation email when your refund has been approved and has begun processing.

You are not eligible to receive a refund under the following conditions:

  • You have previously received a refund for the same course or service in question;
  • You have submitted an excessive number of refund requests;
  • You are not the original purchaser of the course;
  • The policies in this document are not otherwise satisfied.

 

Procedure for cancelling online services

 

To cancel, unsubscribe, or unenroll from any online service, please contact support@robociti.com with a request and accompanying explanation.

Refund policy for paid upfront courses

 

You may be eligible to request a refund for paid upfront courses according to the following conditions.

 

Individual Courses

You are eligible to request a refund for any individual course within 7 days. For paid courses containing only online components, the 7 days begins after payment is made. 

 

Career Path

You are eligible to request a refund for the Career Path within 3 days after the payment is made. The shorter refund window is due to additional services offered alongside the Career Path option.

Following the 7 day period for individual courses and 3 day period for the Career Path, there will be no further refunds, including no partial refunds.

Popular Robotics reserves the right to deny a request for refund of paid upfront model if the request is made after you have:

  • Viewed a majority or a significant part of the course material;
  • Completed the course or earned a course certificate;
  • Used review, tutoring, or any other services provided alongside  course content;
  • Met any additional condition set by Popular Robotics.

Refund Policy for Subscription Access

 

You may cancel any monthly or annual subscription by contacting support@robociti.com with the request and accompanying explanation. Cancellation of any monthly or annual subscription will prevent future payments. 

Any progress will be stored and accessible if your subscription is renewed. Note that if your previous subscription was purchased at a promotional price, cancellation and subsequent renewal cannot guarantee that you will receive the same price for your new subscription. 

 

Annual Subscription

You are eligible to request a refund for an annual subscription within 14 days of payment. Beyond 14 days, you are not eligible to request a refund. Once Popular Robotics has processed the cancellation of an annual subscription, you will no longer have access to previous material, courses, related features or services.

 

Monthly Subscription

You are not eligible to request a refund for a monthly subscription, as Popular Robotics cannot provide a refund for your current billing cycle. Popular Robotics may only guarantee that you will make no future payments towards that subscription. Following cancellation, you will have access to the course, materials, and features until the end of the current billing cycle. 

Additional Policies

 

In the instance of exceptional circumstances, please contact support@robociti.com with corresponding documentation. These circumstances may include:

  • Death or incapacitation of the student; or spouse, child, parent, or legal guardian of the student which prevents the return to the course. Provision of corresponding medical documentation may apply.
  • Additional exceptional circumstances beyond the control of Popular Robotics or the student. Presentation of a case and provision of documentation applies whenever appropriate.

 

Deleting your account through a request to support@robociti.com will automatically unenroll you from any associated subscriptions. However, if you are eligible and wish to request a refund for any paid upfront services or an annual subscription, you must send an additional email to support@robociti.com.

 

You will not be eligible to receive any refund if Popular Robotics has banned your account or disabled access due to a violation of any of our policies (including a violation of ROBOCITI’s Terms of Use ). 

Popular Robotics reserves the right to make changes to any of the above policies at any time, but will issue notifications about changes to policy on ROBOCITI platform and/or by email.

Popular Robotics Hardware Product Refund Policy

 

If you are eligible to cancel or request a refund, we ask that you contact Popular Robotics at support@robociti.com with a reason for request. Your feedback helps us improve our products and services for the future.

For policy regarding online courses, services, and subscriptions, see Popular Robotics’ General Cancellation and Refund Policy .

 

You are eligible to request a refund for the Wheely Robot Kit, Wheely Starter Kit, or Popular Robotics USB Drive within 24 hours after payment. 

 

Following the 24 hour period, purchased hardware is shipped by Popular Robotics. You remain eligible to request a refund within 7 days of receiving the hardware upon the following conditions:

 

  • Documentation verifies that the request is made within 7 days of shipment receipt. No requests for hardware kit returns will be processed beyond 7 days;
  • Popular Robotics confirms that the hardware kit is returned in its original packaging, and is unused, undamaged, and otherwise available for resale;
  • And it is possible to process the refund with your original method of payment.

 

Purchased hardware must be returned and shipped in its original packaging to the following address.

Note that you are responsible for any associated costs, including the cost of shipping. Popular Robotics is not responsible for tracking any lost shipments. Upon receipt of returned hardware, Popular Robotics shall assess your eligibility for refund according to the conditions. After the refund has been received and verified, the refund may take up to 14 days to process.  

 

Popular Robotics reserves the right to deny the exchange or return of any hardware. Foundation for denial includes but is not limited to the above conditions.

Different policies may apply for any additional or external hardware not explicitly mentioned above.
